Neighborhood Groups |
|
Neighborhood Groups are small, personal, and fun. This is a wonderful place to meet new friends who enjoy what you like most - sewing. All ASG members are encouraged to attend a group and may participate in as many as you wish. Find the one that fits you best. If there is not a group in your neighborhood, start one! Bring a guest. Nonmembers wishing to learn more about ASG may visit two group meetings before being asked to join our Chapter. Contacts are below.

The Southside Scissor Wizards are having a great summer. In May Susan showed us how to use the ribbon weaving to make Christmas decorations. It is amazing how everyone’s is different, but yet so beautiful. Several are still working on the wreath’s and even making 4th of July and Fall wreaths. We will be teaching this class to the chapter on Aug. 28. This is really a fun project. June was spent making bags for the service members. This can be done with the serger as well as the sewing machine. We will also be making Christmas stockings for U R Special, so get out your Christmas fabric to help make this project a success. Any one can join the group on the 1st Tues of each month at B-Sew Inn from 10:00-noon.s We have a fun time of talking and sewing. Contact Pat Fritze 366-8296 Jane Brown 946-3580 |
